Hi,
Most of the course listings in the RCGA site are defined based on the score card, however the tour creates their own tee locations and distances. What is the appropriate tee-block to select for these events? My assumption would be:
Championship - Back (whatever they may be)
A - GOlds (or equivalent)
B - Blues (or equivalent)
C - Whites
Since the index is created based on the Score with respect to the Slope & Rating of the tee-blocks selected, could this affect the players index?
If so, what is appropriate tee-blocks to choose for these events? |

| After consultation with the RCGA, we were advised to use the nearest rated tee blocks. If the Tour is playing 6700 yards, and the course is rated at 6900 off the tips and 6600 off the next set of tees, you would post as if playing 6600 yards. If the course was rated at 6800 and 6500 yards, than you'd post at 6800 yards. Win some, lose some! |
