Celebrate the March Break in Myrtle Beach with the GTA Amateur Tour!

As outlined briefly, in the most recent email from us, The GTA Amateur Tour is holding the first event of the 2010 Tour in Myrtle Beach during the week of March 13th – 20th, 2010. We are very excited about the opportunity to co-host this international event in conjunction with CanAm Days and Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday.

Arcadian Shores - Monday March 15th
Tidewater - Tuesday March 16th
Pine Lakes - Wednesday March 17th
Grande Dunes - Thursday and Friday - March 18th & 19th
Myrtlewood Palmetto - Saturday March 20th

Accommodation will be at the Marina Inn which has been touted as one of the premier accommodation options in Myrtle Beach! This wonderful facility is located on the intracoastal waterway and is just seconds away from the Grande Dunes golf course which has a phenomenal driving range/practice facility. They also have a private beach cabana with shuttle service.

There are three accommodation options:

OPTION 1, $959: 1 Bedroom (2 queen beds – 2 people)

OPTION 2, $869: 2 Bedroom (1 king bed and 2 queen beds – 3 people)

OPTION 3, $819: 3 bedroom (2 king beds and 2 queen beds – 4 people)

Please find below the per person pricing for the trip. All pricing is in Canadian dollars which will be taken at par as we will be in Myrtle Beach during CanAm Days. Pricing includes 7 rounds of golf with cart and 7 nights accommodation, 2 rounds of competitive Tournament golf at Grand Dunes and a Friday night dinner banquet hosted by Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday.

Direct Air (flying non-stop from Niagara Falls, New York to Myrtle Beach) has informed us that, if there is enough interest, they would be amenable to adding another flight and provide discounted airfare for our group. The only caveat for this additional flight is that they need to know committed numbers as soon as possible. For those of you who have not yet flown with Direct Air, they are a low cost carrier with direct flights from Niagara Falls, New York to Myrtle Beach. Free parking is provided at the Niagara Falls Airport beautiful, brand new terminal.

Please let us know, no later than January 15, 2010 if you plan to fly or drive. For those of you choosing to drive, we will be working with U-Save Car & Truck Rental to obtain a volume booking discount.

Please let us know, as soon as possible, if you would like to join the Tour Team for some fun and a Tour tournament tune up in Myrtle Beach! We would like to have firm player / family numbers by January 31, 2010. At this time, we are only offering a 7 day golf / accommodation option however, if there is enough interest, we will explore a 4-5 day option. As always, spots will be filled on a first deposited / first in basis.
