I think if anyone says they weren't nervous for their first round they are kidding themselves, but once you get into it you'll see it's really just a great group of guys playing golf, having fun and trying to shoot the lowest score they can. Everyone is pulling for everyone to do well.

We as players are lucky to be able to gather at such great golf courses and put our best game out there in such a fun environment. I love the professional feel - everything from the 1st tee speech to the custom tee blocks and tour pins to the spotters and marshalls ensuring everything moves along at a good pace. I hope you are relaxing today after the championship at OVIINBYRD. First off I would like to thank you for the great time on a spectacular course, I had a fantastic time with all the members and especially the staff on and off the course, they did an outstanding job. This year started in wet Myrtle Beach with a great turnout of some great tour players, the tour staff again did a fantastic job and made the trip a great experience. We made it all the way to the championship with a top 20 finish which was a good year for me.
The tour sponsors are a vital part of the tour to help keep it going and I think all of the players are aware of that and use the sponsor products as much as possible, I purchase Nature Valley bars every week doing our shopping at the local supermarket and I also as you know purchase a Mazda 6 which I gave to my wife but when I get to drive it's hard to give back to the wife because I just love to drive it, what an awesome car. I also gave my brother a pair of Sundog Sunglasses and he called me last week and told me he actually bought another pair he liked them so much, the guys from Capture Scratch did a fabulous job with the photos and videos which I do look at from time to time. Before Myrtle I purchased not one but two pairs of the Ecco Street shoes that Fred Couples wears which are so comfortable, awesome shoes. Digital Cement did a great job on the new website, it took a lot of work to get it to where it is today and it is only going to get better. LG, Paul Dermody insurance, Prodigy Headware, Howard Johnson and eco golf did a great job. TaylorMade, wow, I have a R9 Driver R9 3 Fairway wood and a couple wedges, these clubs are fantastic they have helped my game so much, I will be purchasing a set of R11 irons over the winter months to help me win next year. The TaylorMade golf bag that I got at the Championship I can't wait to use it next season that bag is so cool.
I just wanted to email you to tell you that I had a fantastic time playing the TaylorMade GTA AM TOUR this year and I am especially thankful I am friends with you. You are a truly great person to know: I am sure our friendship will grow even more. You did an outstanding job this year and I hope next year is going to be even better, with you there I am certain it will be. You are a person of great talent for this type of work. The Tour Championship was a wonderful finish to the year, and the course and service impeccable...You and your staff have truly done a great job, and I look forward to more and more competition and friendship in the years ahead.
Course review: it was a spectacular finish, course was set up beautifully. It was interesting that scores were not better on the better day of weather: who knows maybe because the 73 on day one meant there wasn't much of a competition? I wanted to finish top-5, but my 90 wasn't what I was looking for. There is always next year.
The food and service was the best I have had at a golf course. Got a chance to speak with the chef: what a guy...Peter Schwartz really built an oasis for those who like good food, and good golf. I will keep the cart on the path at all times.
If you'd like, I'd be happy to sit down and brainstorm with you on how we might be able to make what is exceptional, even better in terms of product offering. I'd also like to explore some sort of affiliation next year.
On a personal event I have a lot of admiration for all the hard work and passion that goes into this tour for you: you're a one of a kind entrepreneur Mark.

I was fortunate enough to see first-hand how your team scrambles to work collaboratively and address the challenges your team faces on a daily basis during the Myrtle trip last winter; please extend my thanks and appreciation to your entire team.
You should also know that I'm not alone in my appreciation. Through every event I played in this past season, there wasn't one group I played with that didn't speak highly of your team. They are the benchmark for teamwork.
